My idea of a perfect reunion would be a Mexican Dinner on Thursday, the homecoming game on Friday, CW dancing on Saturday and a picnic in the park on Sunday. Howard could stroll around playing the violin and everyone bring their own spam sandwich and Dr. Pepper.
I see you are updating the site for a 45-year reunion. I'll chime in with my suggestions:
1) Dinner Thursday night at a steak restaurant. Maybe gather later for a memorial service for those who didn't make it.
2) I don't much care about football, but I know others do, so it should probably be held around Homecoming. Weather that time of year is a crapshoot, though.
3) Tour of the school on Saturday morning, maybe starting a little earlier. It's a good tradition. Lunch at a local Mexican restaurant. Afternoon ad lib.
4) Saturday Dinner. The one we had for the 40yr was pretty good, but you might want to check out the sound system beforehand next time. I'm indifferent about having a dance; my wife and I are not dancers.
